5 nutritious recipes for babies from 7 till 9 months

Hello again! It was very hot in Holland (35 degrees) and when it’s very hot and warm, I really don’t feel like eating a lot. My body just wants a lot of water and I feel all the time really slow and drowsy. I also don’t feel like cooking a very big meal. BUT my critical voice is telling me I’ve to take care of myself and eat healthy and varied. Of course not only for yourself but also for your family and baby. That gave me the idea to give you some nice, nutritious and delicious recipes for your baby from 7 to 9 months.

From 7 months onwards, a baby can also eat food with more texture, in addition to pureed snacks. So let’s go with the grain! A rice cake or light brown sandwich let your child's intestines become accustomed to fibres and grains. Also, mashed vegetables and fruit are on the plate. Keep it small but nice and cut everything into small pieces so that food goes easily in their nose, (uh mouth). You don’t have to be a master in the kitchen to make your own baby food!

1. An Asian noodle dish with some delicious pak choi!

You can’t start early enough with Asian food. The noodles and pak choi are stewed to soft flavours. I’m sure your little one will love it! It’s super smart to begin very early with a lot of different flavours. The earlier, the more chance your baby would like it. This recipe got a lot of veggies and a bit of ham. Yummy!
